Radiant heating:
convenient and sustainable

How does radiant heating work?

The process generates electromagnetic waves, which turn into heat when they come into contact with objects or people. The principle is the same as for the sun, which heats the earth every day through radiant heat

Infrared radiation

Like the sun rays

Radiant heat transmission occurs when electromagnetic waves transfer energy to the objects with which they come into contact, in exactly the same way as when the Sun heats the Earth. Radiant heating does not require any matter between the hottest body that gives up heat and the coldest one that receives it, and does not cause any disturbances of any kind in the space crossed by the electromagnetic waves.

Electromagnetic waves turn into heat when they radiate a body

Comfort and efficiency

Infrared radiant heating produces the ideal conditions for human comfort without generating convective motion. It does not produce condensation, mould, dry air or Carbon Dioxide (CO2).
Infrared rays are not harmful; on the contrary, several studies indicate that they strengthen the immune system and improve the nutrition of skin, muscles and connective tissues.
They also have the great advantage of not heating the air. This saves a lot of energy because there is no loss of energy efficiency, contrary to traditional heating.

Lamps and electric mushrooms allow for localized heating

The advantages of radiant heating

Easy installation, no recirculation of dust that causes dirt and produces allergies, heating free from noise, odours, smoke and soot build-up.

Immediate and localised comfort

For instant warmth, only where and when needed.

Safe and sustainable

No emissions thanks to the absence of gas and other fuels.

A discreet presence

Silent systems that do not spread odours and noise.

Everything is easier

No constraints set by Fire Brigade and Healthcare Offices, chimneys or dedicated premises.

Cleaner air

Thanks to the absence of convective motion, no fumes or dust are produced.

Suitable for every situation

Maximum performance in both indoor and outdoor areas.

The type of infrared lamp heating proposed by Art-Eco therefore exploits the natural heat exchange that occurs between two bodies of different temperatures, which always goes from the hot element towards to the cold one.

The infrared heating lamps used by Art-Eco can be wall-mounted, suspended or free-standing and produce a low glare effect when compared with those on the market. They have a quartz bulb with gold coating for maximum efficiency and a life of up to 7,000 hours.
