As with any technological product, however, not all infrared lamps are the same. First of all, they differ in the type of electromagnetic wave emitted by the heating bulb: infrared waves can be short waves, fast medium waves and long waves, depending precisely on the so-called wavelength.
Short-wave infrared emitters, the ones used in Art Eco industrial heating lamps, heat the surfaces of objects very quickly, with a warmth that is felt just seconds after switching on. The emitting bulb reaches a very high temperature of between 1000 °C and 2000 °C, and the heating effect ceases very quickly when the lamp is switched off.
