A wheeled cooler<\/strong> is a machine in which an industrial fan<\/strong> directs acertain air flow <\/strong>through a perforated<\/strong> panel<\/strong> with a honeycomb structure, over which cold water<\/strong> flows continuously. This process causes the air to give up some of its heat, becoming cooler and therefore also cooling the temperature of the surroundings. In the case of portable wheeled coolers<\/strong>, the water required for operation may come from the water mains<\/strong>, for models requiring connection to the mains, or from a tank<\/strong> built into the body of the machine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The size of the water tank<\/strong> has, of course, an effect on the operating autonomy of the machine, which is why our industrial and commercial portable coolers<\/strong> have capacious tanks to ensure that our customers can enjoy many hours of continuous operation without the need of topping up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The air flow rate<\/strong> that each wheeled evaporative adiabatic cooler<\/strong> model can handle, i.e. the amount of air, measured in mass or volume, that passes through the machine in one hour, is the fundamental parameter for assessing the surface area in square metres that the machine can cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For example, our ECOOL 5P<\/strong> can cool 100 m2 <\/sup><\/strong>consuming just 250W<\/strong>, with a flow rate of about 5000 m3\/h<\/sup><\/strong> with a runtime, determined by the size of the tank, of about 12-14 hours<\/strong>. On the other hand, its \u201cbig brother\u201d ECOOL 45P<\/strong> can cool up to 600 m2 <\/sup><\/strong>with a consumption of around 1150W<\/strong> thanks to an air flow of no less than 45000 m3\/h<\/sup> <\/strong>and continuous operating time without intervention of around 6 hours<\/strong>, although it can also be connected directly to the water mains<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
