Regular checks and routine and extraordinary maintenance ensure precise and timely operation, as well as optimal energy and comfort performance.
A thorough check-up is essential before starting the system and immediately after switching it off. With the arrival of the cold season, the specialised technicians of Art-Eco plan and carry out thorough routine maintenance work, inspecting and checking each individual cooler, so that the system can be ready for winter.
Disassembling and disinfection
The disassembly and disinfection of the main evaporative cooler components help remove limescale and mould and prevent fungal growth and the growth of microorganisms.
This will ensure, when operation resumes the following season, that all the units of the system are already clean and sanitised, so that the air introduced in the environment will not just be cool but also clean and filtered.
Pad cleaning and check
The cooling pads (the honeycomb panels over which water flows and through which the evaporation process takes place) are disassembled, their integrity is checked and they are thoroughly cleaned, and once fully dry they are reassembled.
In case of excessive wear, any pads no longer in full working order are replaced.
Protection
As a final step, the evaporative adiabatic coolers are wrapped and covered with protective jackets to protect them from cold and ice.
